This weekend (11 & 12 april) was held the 2015 edition of the biggest skateboard and bmx contest in Poland the Baltic Games. The event was organized during the Amber EXPO Extreme Sports Festival in Gdańsk(Poland).The winner of the 2015 edition is Danny Leon!

From the 22nd to the 24th august in Gdańsk,Poland was held the Extreme Sports Festival “Baltic Games 2014”. Due to bad weather the finals of yesterday did not take place. The final results was taken from the qualify.

The Slovakian skater Richie Tury , from Kosice, was in Gdansk , Poland the past weekend for the Baltic Games 2013. One of the biggest skate event in Poland. A BMX and skateboard contest + a lot of concerts . He won this 6th edition of Baltic Games and we have asked him a few questions after the contest 😉

Did you expected a weekend like this?
Not at all, I went there last minute, I didnt even want to go there cause the way from Slovakia to Gdansk was way to long and complicated.
How was the skatepark?
Skatepark was OK but it was made from wood and I prefer and feel more confident at concrete skateparks.

Kickflip backside lipslide on big rail and varial bigspin heelflip boardslide
which is the first thing that comes to your mind thinking to the event?
Great people, cool atmosphere, and delicious food and BMX riders made great show!!!
How was the contest in general…(organization,location…)
Gdansk is way too far and the transportation is complicated cause we had to transfer four times and i spent in train 48 hours in total. Organization was really good, we had great food and free alcohol at the afterparty 😀 I’ve seen many good skaters and people were cheering on so it made really good atmosphere. Thumbs up
funniest thing during the weekend?
The lady denied to sell us our ticket on our way back to Prague casue the train was full so we had to wait 4 hours on next train and it was late anyway.

This weekend in Gdansk(Poland) in taking place the Baltic Games 2013! A BMX and skateboard contest + a lot of concerts. Baltic Games is also the 3rd round of the Polish Skateboard Grand Prix. After the qualify of friday and the semifinals of yesteday the skaters are ready for the finals of today! Maxim Habanec was the best in the semifinals followed by Phil Zwijsen and Rišo Tury. Martin Pek was 4th.
