David Kalina about his 2013 street video part

David Kalina is a young talent from Czech Rep. He’s 18 and he’s skating for 6 year. He’s sponsored by some Czech Distributors: Puma , DETAIL distribution (Deatwish , Shake Junt, Brigada) Silver truck , street market skateshop , Dickies.
This week he has released his new street video part, a video part with some incredible flip trick down the stairs , a video that amaze, all the tricks seems to be very easy for him becouse are really smooth closed. We could not ask him a couple of questions about his street videopart 🙂

Compliments for your street part , the tricks are really breathtaking! With which of the tricks you’re more happy?
Thanks, I’m glad you liked it. I’m really hyped from hardflip in the end, because the spot is way too hard and also nollie double flip made me really happy. I’ve never done it down stairs before.

how much time you have filmed for the video ?
We started filming in february and finished in august. So basicly it was filmed during last half year with my filmer and friend Jakub Chudý.

which trick was the hardest to film ?
I guess hardflip and double flip were pretty much the same. I always landed it but I wasn’t able to run away from it, but when I did, it was awesome!

Which is one of the most beautiful memories of shooting the film?
I had best time of my whole skateboarding career during filming this part. In the meantime I was shooting interview for Czech magazine Board in Mallorca, so some stuff were also filmed there. The whole process was easy, because I had filmed. I used to shoot all of my clips by myself on tripod and it wasn’t so good. You know, there aren’t many people filming street in Czech Republic, so I psyched on how this part turned out to be.
